If Jesus and Buddha and Quan Yin were to meet, they would find perfect accord together. It seems Quan Yin is always shown pouring water, or standing on waves or in a stream. It came to me that she should be pouring water for the two holy men, for East and West, in equal measures. Of necessity, they are placed in nature, not some marble temple. In the mists of history, there have been ancient cultures based on balance between the sexes, where the Goddess was honored in all life. We have been there, we have been expressions of that wisdom! That history lights the way to our future.
